Curriculum Developer

Summary

The Curriculum Developer is in charge of developing the curriculum and content of a specific subject. He/She will meet on a regular basis with external consultants on this subject and discuss the teaching strategies of this particular subject and develop the content accordingly. 

Major Responsibilities:

• Evaluates the curriculums being implemented in Lebanese schools and approved by MEHE.
• Develops, in accordance with the Lebanese curriculum standards and guidelines, the material for every chapter, unit and grade of a specific subject.
• Develops, in accordance with the Lebanese curriculum standards and guidelines, the exercises, activities and examinations for the specific subject they are coordinating.
• Meets, on a regular basis, with subject consultants (school teachers, university professors, subject coordinators) to discuss the latest trends in the teaching the subject they are coordinating.
• Meets on a regular basis with the education specialist to discuss updates, raise concerns and be informed about any changes that may have occurred and require immediate action in the development phase.
• Researches new ideas for activities and interactive material.

Job Requirements:

Academic Qualification

• Bachelor Degree in Physics or any related degree
• Teaching Diploma is a plus
