Curriculum Developer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a curriculum related to creative arts, science activities extra curricula Basic Literacy and Numeracy to vulnerable out-of-school children (primary and intermediate) 
  • Develop procedures and guides for teachers to implement curriculum
  • Research and analyse textbooks relevant to children's age
  • Review and recommend textbooks and other educational materials
  • Research trends in instructional methods and educational technology
  • Train teachers and other instructional staff in new content or technology
  • Provide mentoring and give feedback to teachers/facilitators
  • Other relevant tasks as needed.

 

Job Requirements:

Academic Qualification

  • University degree in education, arts or other relevant majors. Postgraduate degree is favorable.

Professional Experience

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in curriculum design and development.

Skills

  • Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Good writing skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Capacity to work in team and flexibility to take on new tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel..
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.

 

Others

  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different cultural backgrounds.
  • CVs must be submitted with references for reference check
  • Annual performance appraisals will take place during this vacancy.
