Data Entry Officer

Major Responsibilities:

• Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
• Processes reports by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
• Verifies entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
• Secures information by completing data base backups.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Maintains confidence and keeps information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Any other tasks required to accomplish the project objectives.

Job Requirements:

Academic Qualification

• Bachelor degree.

Professional Experience

• At least one year experience in an administrative position.
• Experience in using Microsoft Excel is a must.

Skills:

• Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic. (French is a plus)
• Good computer skills.
• Highly organized.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel is a must.
• Analytical skills.
• Initiative and sound judgment.
• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as work autonomously.
• Strong communication skills.
