Facilitators ( ECE- ABLN- BLN- RS)

Job Purpose

The Facilitator will be responsible for creating and teaching courses during the assigned project. The fundamental duty of a Facilitator is to deliver the material, track their performance, present the student progress to parents and make tests. Instructors should ensure developing lesson plans in line with the curriculum suggested by the subject coordinator.

Major Responsibilities:

• Creating positive learning environment
• Organize and deliver courses.
• Teaching according to the curriculum, achievements and the abilities of individual students.
• Assign, work, correct and mark work carried out by students
• Maintain classroom organization and discipline.
• Go to week after week staff gatherings to address special circumstances or issues with individual students
• Prepare classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts
• Participate in ongoing training sessions
• Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Perform any other related tasks
• To abide by all the coordination, preparation, training’s hours emanating by the representative of the association held outside normal working sessions mentioned in the teaching schedule.

Job Requirements:

Academic Qualification

• University degree or equivalent, Teaching Diploma is a plus

Professional Experience

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Experience working with refugees and other vulnerable groups is a plus

Skills

• Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic.
• Good writing skills.
• Capacity to work in team and flexibility to take on new tasks.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Computer Skills specially Microsoft Excel is a must

Others

• Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different cultural backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to-detail.
• Knowledge of contextual diversity of various areas of Akkar and North, Lebanon.
