Major Responsibilities:
- Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
- Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees.
- Schedules management conferences with employees
- Provides counseling for employees.
- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
- Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Job Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Postgraduate degree (Master's) in Management, or business admiration.
Professional Experience
- Minimum (2) years of relevant experience, at the national and international levels, in human resources management.
- Previous experience in a supervisory/managerial post is required.
- Relevant experience in NGO recruitment and quality assurance procedures.
- Experience in report writing.
Skills
- Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic. (French is a plus)
- Excellent writing skills.
- Capacity to work in teams and flexibility to take on new tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word, Project, Visio and Excel.
- Dynamic leader with creative problem solving skills, particularly in challenging situations.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Skills in numerical and statistical analysis is a plus.
Others
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different cultural backgrounds.
