Human Resources Manager

Under the overall guidance of the General Manager, the incumbent of this post maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Major Responsibilities:

Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees.
Schedules management conferences with employees
Provides counseling for employees.
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Professional Experience

A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, at the national and international levels, in human resources management.
Previous experience in a supervisory/managerial post is required.
Relevant experience in NGO recruitment procedures.
Experience in report writing.
Knowledge of the Labor laws and regulations.

Skills

Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic. (French is a plus)
Excellent writing skills.
Capacity to work in teams and flexibility to take on new tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word, Project, Visio, and Excel.
Dynamic leader with creative problem-solving skills, particularly in challenging situations.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Skills in numerical and statistical analysis is a plus.

 Others

Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different cultural backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills and attention to-detail.
Knowledge of contextual diversity of various areas of Tripoli, Lebanon.
