Outreach Volunteer – Emergency Response

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in community outreach activities in emergency-affected areas.
• Help identify children and youth who need access to emergency education services.
• Support the distribution of educational materials (learning kits, books, school supplies).
• Provide information to families about available educational programs and services.
• Help organize temporary learning spaces, workshops, or community meetings.
• Assist in collecting basic data and feedback from communities to improve program delivery.
• Support coordination with teachers, volunteers, and community leaders.
• Promote safe learning environments and child protection practices.
• Assist and conduct pss and reacreational activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Interest in education, humanitarian work, or community development.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse communities and children.
• Basic organizational and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in challenging or emergency environments.
• Knowledge of local language(s) is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in education, social work, psychology, or community development.
• Previous volunteering or humanitarian experience.
• Basic understanding of emergency response or disaster relief.
