Power for Girl facilitator

Major Responsibilities:

• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and group activities for students/adolescent girls
• Deliver content on:

1. Life skills and leadership
2. Gender equality and girls’ rights
3. Confidence building and self-esteem
4. Health, well-being, and protection (age-appropriate)
5. Education, skills development, and participation

• Use participatory and child-friendly methods (discussions, role play, group work)
• Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Mentor and motivate girls to express themselves and take leadership roles
• Track attendance, participation, and learning progress
• Support community engagement activities when required
• Prepare simple reports and feedback on sessions delivered
• Follow child safeguarding and protection policies at all times
• Adhere to Al Fayhaa association Child Protection & PSEA policies.
• Immediately report child protection concerns.
• Any additional tasks requested by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

Diploma or degree in:

• Education
• Social work
• Gender studies
• Youth development
• Psychology or related field

Experience working with:

Students or adolescents

• Girls’ empowerment or youth programmes
• Community or school-based projects

Skills & Competencies

• Strong facilitation and teaching skills
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to work with girls from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of gender equality and adolescent development
• Ability to manage group discussions sensitively
• Basic reporting and documentation skills
• Team-oriented and reliable
