The Project Coordinator runs, administers and organizes all project activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the Project Manager, aiming at the flawless execution of the project. He/She manages the field team members, collects their visit reports and communicates findings with Project Manager in a timely fashion.
Major Responsibilities:
Coordinates activities, resources, equipment and information.
Liaises with school principles to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
Makes certain that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves.
Monitor and track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise.
Acts as the point of contact and communicates project status adequately to all participants.
Uses project management tools to monitor working hours, and plan execution.
Reports and escalates to management as needed.
Maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
Manages the work of Field Officers in addition to M&E Officers, collects their visit reports and communicates findings with the Project Manager.
Skills
Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic. (French is a plus)
Good writing skills. (Technical Reports in English)
Highly organized.
Capacity to work in team and flexibility to take on new tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
Dynamic leader with creative problem-solving skills, particularly in challenging situations.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Others
Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different cultural backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of contextual diversity of various areas of Tripoli, Lebanon.
