Security Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set the safety and security plan, review it, evaluate it and update it on a regular basis.
• Set the contingency, emergency plans and evacuation.
• Ensure the communication flow with all field centers/ offices and staff.
• Develop and Ensure ongoing relationships with local authorities and all relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor, record and register all incidents.
• Update the risk register on a regular basis.
• Develop a training plan, and provide training that addresses the safety and security needs of the staff and relevant partners.
• Ensure that each visitor and new staff member receives appropriate briefing and orientation.
• Ensure road safety and availability instructions to Drivers prior to their start on Distribution and regular journeys.
• Any other requirements from management.
• Decision maker regarding security issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• University degree is a must OR Relevant Working Experience.
• Proven track record of working in a similar capacity.
• Knowledge and skills in computer usage including word, excel, power point, and social media.
