Background/Hadatha Summary: Al Hadatha Association was founded through a national initiative led by youth. The main objective of this initiative was to 1) strengthen the role of various social groups; 2) provide opportunities that enable marginalized communities enjoy their social, humanitarian and developmental rights; 3) Develop the capacities of vulnerable groups and activate their potential in order to serve the Lebanese community on a national level.

Mission
Al Hadatha works on achieving social and cultural development and on combatting poverty and marginalization in Akkar region and other parts of Lebanon, through the work with youth, women, children and municipalities.
The project is a partnership between the International Rescue Committee and Hadatha Association that aims to strengthen case management capacity for child protection within the Syria crisis emergency response in Lebanon and to increase psychosocial support for children and adolescents, including dedicated activities with adolescent girls.
Job Overview/Summary: The joint IRC-Hadatha programme is seeking a Child Protection Case Worker to conduct all steps of the case management process for an assigned number of individual children vulnerable to abuse, exploitation, neglect and violence and their families in this process:
Ensure children harmed or at risk of being harmed are identified and receive individual case management support by conducting documentation, assessments, action plans, direct service provision, referrals and follow ups for an assigned case load of children
Provide support to families in the process of case management, including foster and alternative care
Directly work with other caseworkers and service providers on management of caseload and referrals
Major Responsibilities:
Technical:
Participate and support the identification of children harmed or at risk of being harmed as per the Practical Guidance (PG) and National SoP’s;
Provide individual case management for children in the intervention location in accordance with all case management steps and related tools and procedures PG and National SoP’S;
Ensure the correct documentation and compilation of CM forms in accordance with all case management steps and related tools and procedures
Ensure that all cases are addressed in a timely manner based on guidelines provided in the risk matrix of the Practical Guidance and shared with the supervisor ;
Work closely with other organizations in order to ensure safe and confidential referrals;
Participate actively in weekly case management team meetings with the IRC Senior capacity building officer;
Facilitate and participate in case conferences for medium to high risk cases;
Provide ongoing support to families and alternative care systems
Communicate regularly with CM capacity building officer for updates on achievements and challenges
Other
Collaborate closely with the other members of the CP team such as the psychosocial support staff to ensure that children in need of case management services are safely identified and referred to relevant services;
Directly communicate effectively with other caseworkers and service providers as part of conducting individual case management
Regularly attend case management meetings at field level
Consistently and proactively monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams; promptly reporting concerns or incidents to Hadatha management and liaising with community leaders and other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment for IRC programs;
Maintain high standards in safely maintaining filing systems and protocols;
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop Hadatha programs

Job Requirements:
Education: technical diploma in social work, case management or related preferable
Work Experience:
2 years work experience minimum of implementing child protection programs, preferable social work or case management, in humanitarian or development settings
Experience in working in a cross cultural environment preferable
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
Team player, flexible, network-builder, able to handle pressure, enjoying working in the field
Demonstrated understanding of working with children and particularly vulnerable children
Good communication skills
Certificates or Licenses:
Proficient in Word and excel
Working Environment: Office work and field trips
