Al Hadatha Association is a social non-governmental and non-political organization founded through a national initiative led by youth. The main objective of this initiative was to 1) strengthen the role of various social groups; 2) provide opportunities that enable marginalized communities enjoy their social, humanitarian and developmental rights; 3) develop the capacities of vulnerable groups and activate their potential in order to serve the Lebanese community on a national level. Al Hadatha works on achieving social and cultural development and on combatting poverty and marginalization in Akkar region and other parts of Lebanon, through the work with youth, women and children.
DRC has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over a decade, running a combination of livelihood, protection, advocacy and relief projects. DRC has six project offices throughout Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia/Libya, Turkey, and both a country and regional office in Jordan. DRC Lebanon has been assisting the Syrian displaced, fleeing Syria into northern Lebanon, since May 2011. This assistance has come through the provision of food and non-food items, various outreach activities (registration, follow-up and awareness sessions) rehabilitation of collective shelters and the implementation of quick impact projects. Key Responsibilities
Conduct FGDs and fill out questionnaires with beneficiaries to assess POC’s needs and interests;
Assist the CDC manager in developing, planning and organizing courses and activities responding to the beneficiaries’ needs;
Supervise and monitor all the community center activities,
Attend the activities, trainings and courses to evaluate the performance of the trainers and the satisfaction of the beneficiaries;
Provide constant feedback to his/her supervisor on progress, lessons learnt, achievements, gaps, issues and problems;
Recruit beneficiaries for the different courses, trainings and activities (50% Lebanese and 50% Syrians);
Responsible of filing all documents related to the center, partner and beneficiaries’ (ex: TOR, MOU, attendance sheets, minutes of meetings, evaluations, beneficiaries’ files, reports, pictures etc.);
Evaluate constantly the quality of the services provided in the community center by conducting evaluation exercises with beneficiaries, trainers, center staff and establish a proper complaints mechanism;
Assist Hadatha CDC manager in the detailed planning of and reporting on the community center activities;
Set the daily/weekly/monthly work plan, in coordination with Hadatha CDC manager ;
