Volunteer - Protection Trainer

 

Hadatha Association announces the needs of  Volunteer at Minieh CBO, the volunteer is an employee of Hadatha who assist project implementation. 
The volunteers are based in the field in Hadatha’s center and work up to five full days per week

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist visitors to Siraj Center (visitors and beneficiaries in trainings) by

responding to their inquiries;

• Fill in the walk-in registration form and place it in the appropriate file;

• Assist in planning, preparing and implementing the trainings and other events, such as

organizing the logistics:

o Prior to the training: conduct phone invitations, design pick-up schedules, ensure

training venue is ready with needed equipment.

o Day of the training: Ensure the refreshment, lunch & stationary are secured and ready,

assist in bus pick-ups;

o After the training: assist in bus drop-offs, ensure training venue is cleaned in

coordination with the center.

  • Report to Hadatha Project Coordinator and NEF Field Officer in case of any issue;

• Deliver to the beneficiaries the protection and GBV awareness messages through activities in

the trainings;

• Conduct pre/post surveys during the trainings;

• Fill baseline before intervention and end line according to Monitoring & Evaluation Plan by

conducting follow-up household visits;

• Conduct house-visits and/or phone-calls to follow up with beneficiaries as per Monitoring &

Evaluation Plan.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Assist the NEF Field Officer in entering data such as a walk-in registration form & report to

NEF Field Officer in case of any issue;

• Train/co-train the beneficiaries by delivering the Business Development Trainings (BDTs),

small group coaching sessions & the Advanced BD Trainings;

• In coordination with NEF Field Officer, sustain a network of community-based actors at the

level of municipalities, other organizations and associations to (1) identify all service providers

in the region, (2) assist in expanding to new areas, (3) keep abreast of recent changes in areas

of implementation.
