Al Midan NGO is seeking to recruit a “Center Manager” for Makani Project in the North.
To address the growing needs of children and youth in Lebanon, AL Midan is implementing the Makani project, utilizing a Multi-Service Community Centre (MSCC) approach across 3 community centers in the North (T5 area). This initiative aims to provide a comprehensive package of integrated services targeting marginalized and vulnerable children and youth aged 0-18 years, as well as their caregivers. The MSCCs serve as safe spaces offering a variety of programs, including education, child protection, early childhood development (ECD), life skills, and youth engagement support, all through a community-based approach. The goal is to reach both Syrian and Lebanese vulnerable children in host communities, as well as collective and informal settlements.

Major Responsibilities:
- The MAKANI Coordinator will coordinate and supervise all activities relating to the MAKANI Centre within the Palestinian Camp or gathering.
- Work with the activities supervisors to design a timetable of activities in the center, as well as develop a plan for monitoring the quality and impact of those activities.
- Coordinate with outreach workers and volunteers to identify vulnerable children in the camp and produce materials/host events to promote the work of the center, to the local community.
- Collect the logistic needs of the centers and act accordingly to ensure the center is fully equipped and meets the needs of the program (make procurement requests, check stock, support the delivery of goods to the center etc.)
- Organize regular meetings with the center staff in order to ensure the correct implementation of the program according to the working plan. Work together with the staff to regularly review and update the work plan, when needed.
- The center coordinator with the activities supervisors should regularly identify trainings needed by the center staff and report these needs. should make sure all center staff are training child protection and other basic requirements.
- Collect the logistic needs of the centers and act accordingly to ensure the center is fully equipped and meets the needs of the program (make procurement requests, check stock, support the delivery of goods to the center etc.)
- Be responsible for collecting all beneficiary data (child registration forms, child attendance forms, child progress forms etc.) and sharing it on a monthly basis.
- Develop and implement strategies to foster community engagement and participation in MAKANI Centre activities including action plans in collaboration with the ECE staff
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of services and programs at the MAKANI Centre.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of MAKANI Centre activities on the target community, providing regular reports to the management team.
- Provide supervision and support to MAKANI Centre staff, including volunteers and facilitators.
- Represent Human Development Center in related meetings and events.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the coordinator and management team.

Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, community development, education, management etc.) is required.
- Preferred: At least three years of supervisory experience in community development, program coordination, or a related field.
- Highly desirable: Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly Palestinian children and youth.
- Essential: Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in relevant languages (e.g., Arabic, English, etc.).
- Full Knowledge in Child Protection Policy and commitment to all its terms, and the prevention of any kind of violence.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Experience in working in group.
- Fluent in spoken and written French, English and Arabic.
