MERA Officer for Measles Immunization Campaign (5 Vacancies)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The MERA Officer will implement the following tasks under the supervision of the IT Chief Officer:

  1. Train the campaign supervisors
  2. Train the campaign teams
  3. Support the supervisors to register their plans in the platform
  4. Support the teams to register data in the field and to synchronize the  data at the end of the day
  5. Support the Qada office to register the distribution of vaccines for suspervisors.
  6. Train the users in dispensaries, Private schools, Public Schools, Nurseries, Private doctors and any other entity that may work within the EPI Program  on MERA (groups sessions, 1-1 sessions, field visits),
  7. Train the users in Qada offices on EPI Registry (management of vaccines orders and reports)
  8. Support dispensaries and qada offices
  9. Support NGO on using MERA in the outreach activities
  10. Collect user’s feedback and report to the IT operation manager.

 

 

EDUCATION

First level university degree in computer science or equivalent.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • The officer must have 1+ years’ experience with: Training on similar systems; Supporting similar systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Enjoy maintaining/enhancing code to meet changing customer/industry needs.
  • Have a “customer-service” orientation.
