Store Management Officer

Scope of Work:

1. Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
2. Perform periodically cycle count for vaccines and drugs due for replenishment.
3. Determine appropriate location for vaccines and drugs and place them on the shelves accordingly.
4. Stack vaccines and drugs according to size, shape, code or any other related criteria.
5. Stack vaccines and drugs according to expiry dates and lot numbers.
6. Examine periodically stored vaccines and drugs for damage and expiry dates and report findings to the Central Drug Warehouse manager.
7. Prepare vaccine and drugs orders request.
8. Participate in preparing and packing the vaccines and drugs.
9. Any other tasks as required by the Head of the PHC Department.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Education:

• An Undergraduate or Technical degree in any relevant field.

Experience and Knowledge:

• At least three (3) years of experience in store management.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, problem solving and team facilitation skills, required. 
• Ability to work with a varied of disciplines and levels of staff across departments.
• Ability to operate and enter information in a computerized inventory software.
• Knowledge of storage methods, procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge in clerical procedures related to storekeeping.
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Fluent in English and Arabic (French is of added value)
