Trainer - GBV

Responsibilities and Obligations:

1.   Deliver awareness-raising sessions on GBV-related topics including gender roles, gender equality, GBV types, and violence prevention both within Alshifaa centers and as part of mobile community outreach activities.

2.   Provide awareness sessions and activities in safe and culturally-appropriate locations within communities.

3.   Facilitate the participation and engagement of vulnerable target individuals and groups in planned activities, ensuring appropriate attention is paid to specific emotional and physical needs

4.   Undertake and follow up the referral of protection cases for individuals at risk and where appropriate to external service providers.

5.   Participate in regular project meetings as appropriate and required.

Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Professional Competencies:
•    A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible professional experience is required.
•    Strong observation, analytical, and listening skills
•    Experience in providing awareness sessions related to GBV, Do No Harm approach, referral mechanism

Computer & IT skills
