ALPHA is a Lebanese non-governmental organization currently engaged in a regional campaign led by Save the Children International to promote safe and responsible digital engagement. With the rapid growth of digital access, children and young people are increasingly exposed to risks such as cyberbullying, online exploitation, and unsafe internet practices.
As part of this campaign, ALPHA aims to strengthen staff knowledge, raise awareness among children, and develop simple tools to promote safe internet use. To support these efforts, ALPHA is seeking short-term technical support from a cybersecurity consultant.
Objectives & Expected Results
Specific Objectives
Increase public awareness of basic cybersecurity concepts through a podcast episode.
Build the capacity of a small group of staff to prevent and respond to cyberbullying.
Provide technical input to child-friendly awareness sessions on online safety.
Expected Results
One short podcast episode on cybersecurity, developed in collaboration with ALPHA’s communications team.
At least 4 staff members with improved understanding of cyberbullying prevention and response.
ALPHA staff able to run simple, child-friendly awareness sessions.
A short final note summarizing activities and key recommendations.
