Request for Quotation – PSS Trainer (Mental Health)

1 – Overview:
Amel Association International (Amel) is a Lebanese and non-sectarian NGO created in 1979. Amel works through 30 centers, 6 mobile medical units, 2 mobile education units and 1 protection unit, and for more than 40 years has supported the poorest regions of Lebanon, from Beirut and its South Suburbs to Mount Lebanon, Bekaa and South Lebanon. Amel offers accessible services for all in the following fields: food security, health, education, protection, child protection, gender-based violence, livelihood, promotion and protection of human rights, rural development
2 – Scope of work:
The primary objectives of the training are to:
- Enhance understanding of current practices in individual PSS interventions and evidence-based methodologies.
- Equip social workers with practical tools to design, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in line with PSS best practices.

3 – Roles and Responsibilities::
The selected trainer will:
- Develop and submit a detailed training agenda and content.
- Deliver the training over 1–2 days using interactive and participatory methodologies.
- Facilitate exercises and simulations to reinforce hands-on skill-building.
- Design and implement a pre/post-assessment to evaluate knowledge acquisition.
- Submit a final training report including:
- Training content and agenda.
- Summary of participation.
- Results of pre/post-tests.
- Evaluation and recommendations for follow-up actions.
4 - DELIVERABLES:
- Training agenda and detailed materials (PowerPoint presentations, handouts, tools).
- Interactive training methods including group exercises, case studies, and role plays.
- Pre- and post-training assessments and analysis.
Final training report with evaluation findings and recommendations.
Note:
- The selected supplier must be responsible for Providing the required services within the required period.
- Amel reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of Sessions.
5 – The quotation must include:
- The number of the registration in the ministry of finance (if existing)
- VAT
- Prices in USD
- Delivery period
- Validity of the Quotation
6 – Required Documents:
All Bidders are required to send the below requirements procurementdpt@amel.org with the subject “RFQ - 05124 - PSS Trainer (Mental Health)” copying procurement@amel.org and procurementfield@amel.org :
- A signed and stamped quotation.
- The technical and methodological approach for the staff care consultancy including the possibility to have the sessions
- Certificate of the registration in the ministry of finance (الشهاد المالية). and all related legal papers including owner ID.
- Annex B - Vendor Pre-Qualification Form, If Applicable
- Acknowledged Annex C - Amel Suppliers Pact of Conduct – English
- Acknowledged Annex D - Exclusion Criteria
7 – Payment Terms:
- OMT Transfer or Bank transfer.

9 – Timeframe
- Quotations and the requested papers should be submitted on or before 25th of July 2025

Kindly note that the quotation will be automatically rejected if
- The bidder doesn’t send all the requested papers (mentioned in number 6).
- The quotation doesn’t include the requirements (mentioned in number 5).
The quotation is received after the deadline.
