The primary objective of the workshop is to facilitate a session where young women between the ages of 18 and 24 can learn about sustainability, understand its importance in their work, and develop an actionable sustainability plan tailored to each group’s vision, mission, and unique context. This plan will outline the key sustainability actions that the groups will undertake over the next two years to ensure their continued success and impact.
Thus, the main workshop objectives include:
- Understand sustainability: Introduce the concept of sustainability and its importance in the context of their work and groups.
- Develop an action plan: Guide each group in creating a sustainability action plan for the next two years, aligned with their vision and mission.
- Identify key actions: Help the participants identify specific, actionable sustainability initiatives that will ensure the long-term viability of their groups.
- Promote collaboration: Encourage participants to collaborate and learn from one another’s experiences to strengthen their group’s sustainability.
- Set monitoring frameworks: Introduce basic monitoring and evaluation tools to track progress on their sustainability goals.
