Amel, in partnership with Caritas Germany, is implementing a comprehensive project, aimed at enhancing the psycho-social well-being, and access to primary healthcare package of older people living with or without disability as well as responding to the critical needs of the older community during this pandemic.
An outreach medical team, composed of a medical doctor and two nurses, will provide a comprehensive primary healthcare package including medical consultations and nursing care through home visits to the most at-risk or home-bound older people.
The part-time Medical Doctor will join the roving unit 2 days out of 5 operational days per week to provide home based medical consultation, in Beirut Blast area, Ain el Remmaneh and Chiah. During the first visit, the medical doctor assesses the patient and decides on the need for follow up and frequency of visits.

- To believe in concepts of equity, human rights, neutrality and impartiality.
