Description:
The Mobile Vaccination Central coordinator will be in charge of the supervision of the three regional team leader (Beirut/ South Lebanon, North and Bekaa) and the fourth mobile team targeting schools. The Central coordinator will coordinate the implementation of the vaccination activities in the field with Amel’s partners (UNHCR, UNHCR partners, MOPH, MEHE). The central coordinator will report to the Health and Program coordinator.
Main Responsibilities:
- coordination of the vaccination activities
- Providing technical support and guidance to the three regional team leaders and to the fourth mobile team
- Monitoring the quality of the services provided and perform regular field assessment
- Provide necessary technical support to enhance and sustain the quality of services provided under the supervision of the Health coordinator
- Maintain regular contacts with local stakeholders and authorities
- Monitor protection risks and needs and refer any protection concerns to the Program coordinator
- In coordination with the team leader, visit the vaccination location before the vaccination date to identify the best site for the vaccination stations
- Report any protection concerns identified in the field
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on site (Community engagement partners, Shawish’s, Municipalities, Landlords, school directors)
- Conduct regular field visits, especially with the team targeting schools
- Monitoring of the school vaccination activities
- Coordinate with Amel’s health department to request and receive the needed medical supplies
- Coordinate with UNHCR FOs in order to identify the vaccination locations
- Ensure proper medical waste management
- Responsible for all the data collection and compilation Coordinate with MoPH to request and receive the vaccines and supplies
- Responsible for the stock management of vaccines and PPEs
- Monitoring and reporting
- Collect daily reports of the regional team leaders
- Contribute to planning and produce activity reports
- Contribute to the preparation and implementation of the donor’s report and project review
- Participation to the organization of technical reviews and technical missions
- Contribute to development of lessons learning exercise, data collection and analysis of data
- Reports to the Health and Program coordinator on a regular basis on achievements and challenges faced by the teams
- Provide monthly reports on progress of activities
- Report to the Program coordinator on organizational level including collection of time sheets, log sheets
- Participate in training, supervision and team meetings
- Any other duties seemed relevant to the position and assigned by the Health and Program coordinator
