Social Worker - Based In Northern Bekaa

The social worker will be based in El Ain, Bekaa. He will be assigned to the operations of a the mobile clinic serving the surrounding villages of the area: Ras baalbeck, Jdaide, Bejjaje, Ez-zire, Al Laboué, Maqraq, Naqra, Fakehe, Talah-te, Jabboule, Al Amhazya, Sbouba. He/She works on a part time basis (15 hours/week): exact working scheduled to be decided with the Emergency Team. Applicants originating from the area will be prioritized.   Tasks and duties   Task #1 – Reaching out activities   -      Conduct field visits to collect data on the number of beneficiaries living in each of the villages mentioned before, their age, their condition of through interaction with municipalities, home visits -      Identify the medical, psychological and social needs of the local population -      Share with the local vulnerable population identified the information of the coming mobile clinic, with the services provided, the conditions of access, and the schedule -      Coordinate with local actors and interact with various authorities     Task # 2- Psycho-social counseling   -      Identify families or individuals in need of medical, psychological or social support or counseling through home visits -      Assess the eligibility of vulnerable families to free medical services through the mobile clinic according to a set of socio-economic criteria. -      Identify protection concerns (Trauma, SGBV, domestic violence) and provide psychosocial support to cases of concern through the Mobile Clinic. -      Promote human rights and Amel services to vulnerable families. -      Assist in developing a protection and referral system with the Emergency Team and in cooperation with other agencies providing medical assistance.   Task # 3- Other   -      Participate in trainings, internal and interagency meetings. -      Coordinate with local actors and interact with various authorities -      Work in team with the doctor, nurse and El Ain community Center staff.
