·         Implementing quality educational support to the children benefiting from the programs.

·         Teaching classes and evaluating students’ progress.

·         Planning and implementing lessons as per the directions of the education specialist, Head teacher, Field coordinator.

·         Preparing a file for each child as per the directions of the specialist and the centers’ coordinators.

·         Providing age appropriate supervision and discipline.

·         Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the children.

·         Addressing cultural and special needs.

·         Contributing to the ongoing operations of the centers.

·         Keeping an ongoing positive communication with the parents.

·         Teaching and educating students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care.

·         To be fully aware of Amel’s Code of Conduct and Safeguarding policies and procedures and to ensure its implementation.

·         He/she is responsible to create conducive learning environment where the students will get education as per the desired format of the Lebanese curriculum with approval from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education;

·         Is responsible for the implementing the Remedial Courses curriculum set by Amel International under the supervision of the Education Coordinator;

·         The teacher is responsible to follow other rules and regulations of the school/program;

·         Ensure that children feel comfortable, safe and respected;

·         To teach pupils according to their educational and personal needs;

·         To monitor and evaluate the children’s progress and welfare;

·         To maintain a well-organized teaching area which displays children’s work and has readily accessible resources;
