Field Coordinator – South Lebanon

• Coordinate the day to day implementation of activities of the intervention;
• Assist in assessing and reporting the needs and capacities of the local communities with respect to solid waste management;
• Identify target households and manage the distribution of waste sorting bins according to pre-set plans;
• Liaise with community groups on a regular basis including volunteers, neighborhood committees, informal pickers, local authority and other stakeholders;
• Provide accurate and timely data that feed into the achievement of project objectives, including both activities directly implemented by ANERA as well as those implemented by partner organizations;
• Ensure activities are implemented in accordance with plan set by the project manager;
• Maintain proper and updated monitoring of capacity building and awareness activities with proper documentation of such monitoring activities including list of participants, attendance, questionnaires, pre and posttests;
• Assist in the organization, preparation and implementation of trainings, community events and awareness campaigns, emphasizing key hygiene promotion messages;
• Report challenges or problems faced in a timely manner and participate in planning modifications to plans as needed;
• Assist in monitoring and evaluation tasks assigned by the project manager;
• Act as focal point for different project stakeholders;
• Manage and Coordinate local and field visits for project managers or any concerned parties;
• Submit monthly reports on development of activities, results, challenges and achievements of project as per templates;
• Perform other tasks as the need arises.

Requirments and Qualifications: 

• A bachelor or technical degree in the field of environmental sciences, health, social sciences or any other relevant field
• Two to three (2-3) years of related field-level coordination experience
• Previous experience with Local or International NGO’s will be an advantage
• Education degree: Bachelor or Technical Degree in health, social sciences or other relevant fields
