Ensure Implementation and Coordination
- Implement assigned tasks as per the weekly detailed distribution and data gathering implementation plan;
- Comply and abide by Anera’s and donor’s in-kind distribution best practices and SoPs;
- Inform the PM of any deviations from the planned activities;
- Act as focal point and leader on assigned task during distribution
Handle Parcel Distribution Assigned Tasks
- Check and verify all the information about the beneficiaries and ensure the avoidance of any identification errors;
- Assist in providing related input to facilitate internal and external reporting;
- Assist project team in database updating and necessary documentation;
- Ensure that beneficiaries provide proof of receipt of assistance;
- Support PM in ensuring that all distribution supporting documents are in place (issuance note, return note, Daily distribution report…);
- Make sure to refer any protection case to assigned focal point;
Enhance accountability and complaint mechanism
- Comply with Anera’s Code of Conduct and protection policies, including Anti-fraud, Anti-corruption, PSEA and Child protection policies.
- Receive beneficiary feedback and complaints positively; and attempt to address their needs instantly per guidelines;
- Actively participate in lessons learned session for the project;
- Perform other duties as required
Security
- Respect the security rules specified in Anera’s general and project security plans,
- Communicate to the PM any security related information or noncompliance with the security plan
- Respect the safety measurements specified in the mission during emergency situations and the COVID-19 protocols.
Other responsibilities
- Potential support to other Anera departments and bases to ensure coordination when needed
- Conduct field visits if required and requested (i.e., to ensure data quality and follow up on data collection techniques and skills)
- Respect of Anera policies and code of conduct
- Be committed to participate to any other tasks to achieve the project goals
Education, Skills and Requirements:
- University or Technical Degree
- 2+ years’ experience in emergency relief including direct aid distribution
- Able to use a computer, with word-processing (e.g. Google docs) and spreadsheets, internet and e-mail.
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Fluent in written and spoken Arabic
- Ability and readiness to work on-site in various distribution points within the whole Caza of Aley (coastal and mountain areas)
- Experience with WFP-funded in-kind projects is highly desirable
