Logistic Pharmacist

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory, proper storage and handling of medications and medical supplies 
• Report any discrepancies between physical count and packing lists
• Confirm safe arrival of medications when assigned
• Ensure suitable facilities to enable the receipt, storage and transfer of medications under proper conditions of sanitation, temperature, light, moisture, and security to guarantee medication integrity 
• Properly label hazardous medications 
• Proper handling & delivery of cold chain medicines 
• Promote orderliness and efficiency and minimize the potential for medication errors and contamination of products in the distribution center
• Perform proper zoning and allocation of shipment items and pallets to end recipients
• Create Delivery Notes and Requests for Donations for end recipients
• Ensure proper pickup and safe handling of medicines
• Ensure Anera and donor visibility per communication guidlines
• Timely update of the distribution tracker and the MD shipment tracker
• Accurate data entry of all shipments into the inventory system 
• Handle and document damages, breakage or spillage in the distribution center
• Perform Medication Storage Area inspections
• Submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports related to medication inventory and transactions

Requirements:

• Degree in Pharmacy
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management
• At least 2 years experience in data management / inventory
• Demonstrated knowledge in GSDP standards
