National Volunteerism Advocate - Prospective

Creation and management of a national volunteering program that facilitates the recruitment of volunteers, connects them to opportunities, ensures the standardized management of the volunteering experience while abiding by the Do No Harm, PSEA, and child protection principles, and maintains the capacity building and satisfaction of the volunteers and hosting entities. •Develop, plan, and execute outreach programs and events. Solicit and develop a network of resources capable of and willing to support program events and activities.•Serve as knowledgeable resource related to programs, events, activities and services offered ensuring that programs, are scheduled and executed within established budget constraints or cancelled as needed.•Identify, develop and implement creative volunteer recruitment strategies and methods to attract and retain a sufficient pool of volunteers/consultants/project staff to maintain efficient operations as part of a strategic plan. In terms of materials development, training delivery, beneficiaries’ feedback and monitoring results, for both the youth volunteers and the partners’ entities; •Coordinate day-to-day volunteer operations and field coordinators. Train, guide, and communicate logistics and other requirements related to regular operations.•Serve as main point of contact with regard to collection, maintenance and organization of volunteer service records, including contact information, hours worked and formal/informal volunteer recognition. •Develop with the M&E officer the needed monitoring tools to ensure effective and efficient Programme implementation.•Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with at least 40 different entities;•Communicate with the key stakeholders; Ensure regular contact with the donor.•Supervise the coordination between the Platform moderator and the platform developer.•Register more than 10,000 youth volunteers on the developed platform.•Other duties as assigned.
