Project Officer - Prospective

Under the close supervision of the Education Program Manager in the Beirut Office, the incumbent will:

• Ensure the proper and timely implementation of all planned project activities, including outreach and selection activities and training activities, in alignment with agreed on project requirements.
• Follow up with Field staff in 4 different locations (Bekaa, South, BML, and Akkar) to ensure proper implementation of project activities at field level according to plan.
• Liaise with project stakeholders, such as: community development centers (CDC’s) and partners to ensure smooth communication and proper coordination of activities and conduct induction and roll-out sessions for staff and partners as needed.
• Ensure financial/budget requirements are met, including revision of reports, verification of deliverables and timesheets and payments, and preparation of payment requests, and other.
• Work closely with the MEAL department to ensure that project target indicators are met, and to ensure that all monitoring and evaluation forms are designed and filled by concerned parties as per the MEAL plan.
• Conduct field visits to different project components in all areas.
• Track progress of all program activities, identify challenges and suggest corrective measures and prepare progress reports to be submitted to the Education Program Manager and to the donor.
