AMIDEAST/Lebanon is recruiting an Educational Assistant for the Educational and Scholarship Programs department to support the EducationUSA advising center and various scholarship programs.   Position Description The Educational Assistant would be a part of the team responsible for helping students and professionals residing in Lebanon who are interested in studying at U.S. colleges and universities. The Educational Assistant would provide daily services to customers and general administrative support to meet the department’s targets and objectives.   Major tasks would include: Perform administrative support tasks, including paperwork, data-entry, filing, etc. Coordinate with students and provide high quality support Promote department’s programs and services Assist with marketing and social media communications and campaigns Support the department staff for EducationUSA and all scholarship programs   Required Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Psychology, Business or related field Excellent organizational skills Strong communication and leadership skills High attention to detail Good time management skills Ability to take initiative and be creative Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Internet Fluency in English and Arabic is a must A typical schedule would require some time during the office work hours, and some time on evenings or weekends, when students come for workshops.   Interested candidates should send a resume and cover letter to lebanon@amideast.org with the following in the subject line: Educational Assistant – EducationUSA.
