Entrepreneur Institute Manager

AMIDEAST/Lebanon is recruiting an Entrepreneur Institute Manager to manage its current entrepreneurship programs and develop new initiatives.   Position Description The manager of the AMIDEAST Entrepreneur Institute (AEI) will be responsible for handling all responsibilities and tasks for the Institute and the Arab Women Entrepreneurship Project (AWEP) and providing the required leadership  and support needed to meet the department’s targets and objectives. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:   Develop a strategic plan for AMIDEAST Entrepreneur Institute to establish an active role for the Institute in Lebanon’s entrepreneur ecosystem Maintain and enhance network connections and explore new opportunities to add value to AMIDEAST’s entrepreneurship initiatives Develop proposals and training initiatives to best support aspiring entrepreneurs in targeted niche communities Recruit and identify curriculum developers and trainers on key topics for successful entrepreneurship, market and plan workshops, attend sessions and identify additional means to support participants Develop and run business plan competitions Manage various social media accounts, mobile applications, and database/mailing lists, and marketing efforts of the institute (Newsletters, success stories, podcast series…)   Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Strategic Management, or Public Administration Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, including project management and/or experience with SMEs Excellent organizational, managerial, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to take initiative, be creative, and think strategically Willingness to work flexible hours/night shifts as well as on weekends Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Internet Fluency in English and Arabic is a must Lebanese nationality Available to begin work in September 2015   Interested candidates should send a resume and cover letter to lebanon@amideast.org with the following in the subject line: Entrepreneurship Institute Manager.
