Graphic Designer

AMIDEAST has a short-term consultancy position for a Graphic Designer.       Project Description: Developing Assistance to Schools and Teacher Improvement II (D-RASATI2) is a project that aims at enhancing student achievement in Lebanese public schools by training English teachers, developing extra-curricular activities, providing schools with ICT equipment and training, developing school leadership and building the capacity and tools necessary to support school improvement planning. D-RASATI2 is a two-year project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).     Consultancy Description: The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Extracurricular Activities Component Manager to design extracurricular activity guides that will be distributed to public schools in Lebanon. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Reviewing all modules developed Developing the concept and proposing design options that best present the content of all modules Developing final design of all modules     Qualifications: BA degree in graphic design, or other relevant field required Experience working on the design of educational printed material is preferred Knowledge of best practices in designing educational materials Fluency in Arabic and English is required Ability to work within tight deadlines Lebanese citizen Available to start the consultancy immediately     Resumes and cover letters should be sent to: lebanon@amideast.org with “D-RASATI2 Graphic Designer” in the subject line.
