Human Resource Development Specialist

Position Description   The Human Resource Development Specialist plays a key role in three different areas of AMIDEAST’s work in Lebanon, working closely with colleagues in the training, development and administration departments on the following:   Training Center Programs (public, corporate and sponsored training workshops and programs) Identify key topics to meet training needs in the market Develop concepts for public and sponsored training programs  Recruit, interview, and contract trainers in diverse fields of expertise Network with other HR professionals in Lebanon Provide technical input for new training proposals Handle monitoring and evaluation of workshop results  Arrange any necessary logistics for training workshops Human Resources Coordinate AMIDEAST’s Internship and Volunteering program including promotion, recruitment, selection, orientation, and supervision of interns and volunteers Handle recruitment efforts for employees and short-term consultancies including announcing vacancies, screening, interviewing, and documenting the process Develop and/or review job descriptions Support all staff with conducting performance appraisals Establish and maintain various HR processes and systems Training Develop and deliver training workshops for students and professionals in different programs managed by AMIDEAST   Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or other related field required; master’s degree preferred At least 2 years of relevant work experience Experience in developing and delivering training, preferred Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management and communication skills Excellent computer skills (MS Office, internet research, etc.) Ability to multi-task with high attention to details Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision Fluency in English and Arabic required Lebanese citizen Available to start work immediately   Understanding: This Position Posting is not intended to be all-inclusive, and the employee will also perform other reasonable related business duties.
