Program Associate, Entrepreneurship and Professional Development

AMIDEAST/Lebanon is recruiting a Program Associate for the Entrepreneurship and Professional Development department. The Entrepreneurship and Professional Development department manages entrepreneurship and professional development programs in different regions around Lebanon.

 

Position Description

The Program Associate would be part of the program team responsible for ensuring AMIDEAST’s successful implementation of all current programs for the Entrepreneurship and Professional Development department, implemented in Beirut and around Lebanon. The Program Associate will handle various responsibilities, which include:

-Assist the department director to ensure that all programs are managed according to the project timelines, deadlines, quality assurance standards, and budgets

-Promote and market the various departmental programs to reach target audience in all areas in Lebanon through various means and tools including outreach visits, social media, meetings and conferences, and other

-Assist the department director in creating a public training calendar and scheduling of these trainings

-Support in the recruitment of beneficiaries, trainers, clients, and partners

-Represent the department in conferences, public fairs, and other department activities

-Assist in managing and creating content for the various AMIDEAST social media platforms, newsletters, and other media platforms

-Handle communication with department’s current program participants, potential new  beneficiaries, and alumni and ensure updated records and capturing of success stories

-Handle all customer service issues and respond to all inquiries received via email, phone calls, or visits, providing accurate and proper information to ensure customer satisfaction and awareness of services and programs that they can benefit from

-Assist in creating meaningful follow-up activities for alumni and help with building the AMIDEAST community

-Communicate and coordinate with trainers and partners to follow up on payments, workshop schedules, attendance sheets, and other logistics and administrative tasks

-Manage and coordinate all logistics needed for training workshops and department activities

-Manage and further develop the online learning system and work with facilitators and workshop participants in navigating and using the system

-Conduct various monitoring and evaluation tasks related to ensuring the quality standards set by the department

-Handle all administrative tasks needed to ensure the proper implementation of the various departmental programs

-Plan, schedule, and ensure the smooth running of all department activities

-Handle the verification, data entry, and filing of applications received

-Assist with interview preparations, orientation sessions, events, and travel arrangements

-Perform administrative duties including data-entry, filing, paperwork, etc.

 

Required Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Education, or related field

-2-3 years of experience in an administrative role in entrepreneurship, capacity building, administration, or similar field

-Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills

-Ability to perform all work assignments with meticulous attention to detail

-Ability to take initiative, multitask and prioritize responsibilities

-Excellent computer skills including MS Office; high proficiency in Excel is required

-Willingness to travel to workshop sites all over Lebanon

-Willingness to work on weekends and evenings, as needed

-Experience with managing social media platforms

-Lebanese citizenship

-Fluency in English and Arabic is a must

-Available to start work immediately
