AMIDEAST/Lebanon is looking for a short-term Team Leader - Capacity Needs Assessment (CNA) to work on an education-related project from August through December 2018.
The main responsibilities of the Team Leader of the Capacity Needs Assessments include:
-Provide overall leadership of technical inputs and coordinate engagement and delivery of the capacity needs assessments.
-Be responsible for the delivery of the roadmap.
-Provide advice to the Project Director and Deputy Project Director on matters related to their accountabilities to various stakeholders involved.
-Keep the Technical Team Leader for the Technical Assistance programme informed of their work and emerging findings.
-Lead and guide the design and implementation process for the capacity needs assessments.
-Lead the preparation of supervisory committee meetings.
-Ensure adequate briefing of incoming consultants in preparation for the assignment
-Maintain and actively manage the core team members, collectively and individually, to deliver high quality work in a timely manner.
-Ensure the delivery of capacity needs assessment tools and manage their timely application
Required Qualifications:
-Experience in education sector reform
-Fluent written and spoken Arabic
-Experience in the delivery of capacity needs assessment processes
Desirable Qualifications:
-Experience working in Lebanon
-Fluent written and spoken French
-Led capacity needs assessment processes at the national government level
