Project Description:   Developing Assistance to Schools and Teacher Improvement II (D-RASATI II) is a project that aims at enhancing student achievement in Lebanese public schools by training English teachers, developing extracurricular activities, providing schools with ICT equipment and training, developing school leadership and building the capacity and tools necessary to support school improvement planning. D-RASATI II is a 2-year project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).   Position Description:   As part of the D-RASATI II project, AMIDEAST is responsible for implementing, in close coordination with the Lebanese University Faculty of Education and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Leadership Development Program II (LDP II), which will enhance the capacity of public school principals in school leadership and management. AMIDEAST is looking to hire 5 Training Logistics Coordinators to support the administration of the training workshops in Chekka, Zahle, Saida, Nabatieh, and Beirut.   Specific Job Description:   AMIDEAST is seeking part-time consultants with experience in workshop coordination and administration to support training workshop delivery two days per week for a 3-month period beginning March 7. The Training Logistics Coordinators will work closely with the LDP program manager and officer to perform the following: Provide onsite support in one of the five training centers for 2 days per week Coordinate with the project office for all necessary logistics for the implementation of training workshops that will take place in the training center Follow up with the training center on all logistical aspects of the training Ensure that all training materials, equipment and supplies are available for each workshop Provide written reports to the LDP II manager at the end of each training day   Desired Qualifications:   A BA degree in Education, Public Administration, Sociology, Psychology or other relevant field preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Fluency in Arabic and English is required; fluency in French is preferred Computer literacy Lebanese citizenship Is willing to work in one or more of the different regions hosting this training program Available to begin work immediately Available on all Fridays and Saturdays between March 7 and May 31 (with the exception of Friday and Saturday April 18 and 19)
