Curriculum Developer

Job Purpose:  Develop new curriculum when necessary, evaluation used curriculum and ensure that all teaching material is effective and that it meets official education standards. Duties & Responsibilities: The main responsibility of the Curriculum developer are but not limited to: Conduct research and consult with official schools and AMURT staff in the design and development of new curriculum Prepare instructional material and develop outlines with the necessary basic detail to direct instruction. Analyze student test data, use evaluations and data to make recommendations for how to improve and edit curricula on an annual basis. Monitor professional research and disseminate ideas and information to others. Plan the necessary time, resources, and materials to support accomplishments of education goals. Review and recommend textbooks and other educational materials Observe work of teaching staff to evaluate performance, and to recommend changes that could strengthen teaching skills Recommend teaching techniques and the use of different or new technologies Develop procedures for teachers to implement curriculum Train teachers and other instructional staff in new content or programs Mentor or coach teachers to improve their skills To produce narrative and statistical reports to the Project Coordinator on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Attend internal and external meeting. Qualifications/Requirements: Demonstrable technical expertise in the assessment of, design, and delivery of relevant Education programming. Analytical skills to examine student test data and make recommendations for improvement in curriculum and teaching Effective writing skills Good interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with teachers and school administrators Creativity — able to think of new ways to engage students Leadership skills to coach teachers on effective instructional strategies Strong experience in training and capacity-building English & Arabic language proficiency are required Excellent MS Office skills, excellent typing skills.
