Main Responsibilities
Finance Officer will:
Assisting the Finance Coordinator in maintaining strict financial systems to international audit standards.
Maintain financial records (receipts and payments) and ensure that these records are accurate and up to date.
Recording financial transactions such as checking invoices, preparing advance payment vouchers.
Preparing timely reports.
Ensuring that all expenditures and receipt of goods and services are supported by proper documents.
Performing bank reconciliation.
Use of accounting software and Excel; data entry.
Others as required by the Chief Finance Coordinator
Duties will be performed in Kfarnabrakh and Baakata / Bakleen field office. Regular travel to field office will be required.
All candidates must have
Minimum Bachelor’s degree with strong background in finance and bookkeeping or equivalent experience.
Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
Should have a sound knowledge of procurement procedures and record-keeping.
Readiness to travel for field visits for financial monitoring.
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills and fully comfortable with use of general office applications in English.
Driver’s license (car an advantage)
Non-smoker.
Proximity to AMURT’s Kfarnabrakh main office.
Immediate availability to take up position if selected.
