Job Purpose:
HR & Admin Officer develop, advice on and implement policies relating to the effective use of personnel within AMURT. They are involved in a range of activities such as working practices; Recruitment; Pay; Conditions of employment; Evaluation and others.
Handles a number of functions involved in the continued operations of an organization
Duties and responsibilities :
The main tasks & Responsibilities are but not limited to:
Working closely with various departments, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures;
Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization;
Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates;
Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, disciplinary procedures and others;
Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits;
Undertaking regular salary reviews;
Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;
Developing with line managers HR planning strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements;
Planning, and sometimes delivering, training - including Orientation for new staff
Maintain and update administrative and technical systems in accordance with management directives.
Maintain minutes of meetings.
Ensure proper functioning of an archiving and documentation system
Control the attendance sheets of all AMURT staff categories; submit summary of attendance reports at the end of each month.
Payroll administration including NSSF & Taxes calculations
Declare all reports, as required, on a monthly quarterly and yearly basis to NSSF & Ministry of Finances.
Liaise with NSSF, Ministry of Finances, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Interior and Insurance companies for all matters related to HR and legal issues.
Others, as required by the Program Coordinator
Qualifications & Requirements:
Strong oral and written communication skill in English and Arabic languages
Prior experience in human resource.
Excellent MS Office skills, excellent typing skills.
Demonstrated capacity to innovate and think creatively
Excellent organizational and interpersonal capabilities
Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and within team.
Driver's License.
