Program Development & Pr Officer

Job Purpose: To support the Program Coordinator in the development and funding of AMURT’s externally funded projects, with specific responsibility for pursuing large scale funding opportunities from funding parties To manage AMURT’s public relations  on a national and international level. To liaise with national and international NGOS, national ministries and UN. Main Duties & Responsibilities Lead development of new externally funded projects Establish and champion sub project teams, involving appropriate external partners, stakeholders and specialists, to ensure effective delivery of project activities Produce narrative and photo/video reports to the Program Coordinator and donors on quarterly and yearly basis. Select and use current and emerging technologies to support the quality and delivery of public relations activities and organizational effectiveness.  Use strategies and tools to build and maintain professional relationships to support public relations activities, organizational objectives and project development.       -Maintain public relations Internationally with funders, auditors, NGOs,… Work with funding bodies and corporate sponsors               -Build & Maintain working partnerships and good communication nationally with representatives of other NGOs and the Ministries       -Build and maintain partnership with local governance structures (including municipalities)    Others as required by the Program Coordinator or Board of Directors. Skills & Abilities Demonstrable technical expertise in the assessment of, design, and delivery of relevant programming. Good knowledge and understanding of Humanitarian Principles and Protection & Education frameworks, tools, and minimum standards. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated capacity to innovate and think creatively Are detailed – oriented with excellent organizational skills English & Arabic language proficiency are required Excellent MS Office skills, excellent typing skills Collaborative approach with the ability to work within different cultural environments. Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines Ability to work independently and within team
