Psychologist

The main responsibilities of the psychologist are performing necessary tests to the client; evaluating him during and after the therapy and providing assistance and tips to the psychosocial support. The Responsibilities are but not limited to: Performing psychological test to diagnose the client Define necessary therapy according to each diagnose & explain the reasons and objectives of the therapy to the psychosocial support staff. Conducting individual or group sessions with students. These assess need, build trust and explore issues; Give psycho social support staff tips on working with clients, different kinds of activities for clients and group therapy (behavioral, art therapy,music therapy ,breathing \relaxation therapy and play therapy.... Formulating a psychological explanation of the student's issues; planning and implementing therapy; evaluating the outcome of therapy; Writing reports and record-keeping; Undertaking research, either individually or as part of a team. Support/give training to Staff on how identify signs of possible psychological vulnerabilities in the children; Networking within the health professional community and other potential business areas to maintain continuity of work and client base; Participating in all meeting, staff meeting, parents meeting…… Giving weekly plan on Friday  for the next week to the supervisor Others as required by the supervisor Qualifications/Requirements:   Oral and written communication skill in English and Arabic languages  Good MS Office skills. Demonstrated capacity to innovate and think creatively Excellent organizational and interpersonal capabilities Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines Highly approachable, trustworthy and confidential Demonstrate wilingness to improve own knowledge and skills by participating actively in any training sessions and capacity building activities Commitment to equality and social inclusion; Conscientious, with an excellent sense of judgment   Immediate availability to take up position if selected.
