Social Worker

Promote vocational options amongst youth and assist the students and their families in the vocational learning and job placement process.

• Conduct household visits to assess the socio-economic state and to recruit youth
• Facilitate ongoing Focus Group Discussions with both the youth and their families
• Offer legal advice, support, and referral whenever possible to the youth throughout the project period
• Refer cases to Local and national NGOs (internally and externally)
• Promote the vocational training amongst their families so the
  students can reach higher income levels
• Write reports, fill data tables and do weekly plans
• Work alongside other professionals in planning how best to help a student’s /beneficiaries
• Hold and lead social awareness and life skills sessions for beneficiaries.
• Know how to deal with youth
