Project Management
- Lead development and implementation of the BMZ 46107 Vocational Opportunities project. This includes: Result1: Preparation of students, Result 2: PSS for the students, Result 3: Vocational training in public and private institutions, Result 4: Skills training and self-employment.
- Support all vocational activities through frequent visits to schools and field sites, local officials and communities, to ensure minimum standards for Education and Protection are maintained.
- Ensure progress is achieved on the indicators of the project 46107’s results targets.
- Periodically review the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems for vocational programming, in collaboration with M&E team, including the development of M&E tools and methodology, management of reporting mechanisms and information flow, and analysis of program data and impact.
- Identify program gaps, areas of growth, and strategies and support in adapting program design to effectively meet beneficiary needs.
- Lead preparation and compilation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting in collaboration with M&E reporting team.
- Lead a monthly staff meeting to discuss the reports provided by senior staff and propose corrective action plans when needed.
- To produce narrative and statistical reports to the Program Coordinator on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Report to the board monthly on quantitative and qualitative progress, serious issues of concern and team spirit.
Partnership management
- Maintain working partnerships and good communication with representatives of other NGOs and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, MOSA and MOL.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local governance structures (including municipalities) to work on vocational projects.
- Attend monthly UN working group meetings for livelihoods in BML.
- Liaise with vocational school directors and principals.
- Liaise with MEHE in coordination with AMURT Board of Directors.
Human Resources and Capacity Building
- In collaboration with the Admin and HR officer, identify staffing needs and ensure that appropriate staff for the vocational projects are recruited.
- Supervise and coach all staff & develop personal monitoring plans for each staff in collaboration with senior staff.
- Ensure that all vocational, PSS, social workers, and drivers staff are complying with the code of conduct and all other policies.
- Conduct trainings for relevant AMURT staff, local NGOs and local authorities on livelihood & child rights.
- Others as required by the Program Coordinator or Board of Directors.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business administration or NGO supervision.

Strong experience in training and capacity-building
Experience with participatory approaches and working with vulnerable groups, including gender mainstreaming and with persons with disabilities.
Good knowledge and understanding of Humanitarian Minimum Standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Positive and solutions-oriented leader focused on team-building, problem-solving, and support to the teams and beneficiary communities.
English & Arabic language proficiency are required
Excellent MS Office skills, excellent typing skills.
