Talent Acquisition:
- Provide professional support to hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process, from offer to start as well as ensuring appropriate resources are deployed to achieve the mission’s values and principles.
- Provide comprehensive support function to the HR team for adhoc tasks and future association projects.
- Participate in the coordination of all aspects of recruitment and selection process including; scheduling interviews and tests (if required) with candidates, provide feedback as appropriate and conduct reference checks.
- Pro-active search for AA based hard to fill roles and support business development.
- Participate in ensuring job description is in line with mission staffing requirements.
- Draft offer letters and employment contracts and all other employee related letters for all employees including collection and maintenance of new starters’ documents.
- Work effectively as a member of the HR team to ensure optimization of resources across the team as well as delivering consistency and effectiveness of practice.
- Experienced in handling volume hiring and skilled positions.
- Serving as a point person for all new employee questions.
- Performs various strategies and techniques to attract applicants who will fit to our requirements.
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants over the phone and face to face; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements..
- Updates the hiring manager on regular basis regarding the hiring progress.
- Conducts New Employee Orientation.
Employee Relations:
- Administer the coordination, processing and data entry of all paper and electronic HR transactions against quality standards and agreed timeframes.
- Provide initial point of support to employees on HR procedures and policies .
- Monitor and respond to telephone and HR queries and provide advice, guidance and support to both managers and employees across all aspects.
- Provide back up support for payroll.
- Administers Exit Interview and Clearance processing.
- Contribute to the development and review of HR Policies and Procedures.
- Performing various tasks and functions designed to ensure positive relationships between the Association and employees.
Other HR relevant duties and project work as directed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent, Master’s degree in HR or HR certificates is a plus
- 4 to 6 years of HR experience.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Capacity to listen, reflect and treat people’s expectations and issues.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access and Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and time management skills
- Ability to organize tasks simultaneously, prioritize work and ensure tasks are completed by deadline
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic.
