Project Coordinator - School Readiness and Transitioning Project

Ana Aqra Association is seeking a Project Coordinator for its School Readiness and Transitioning Project, supporting children’s smooth entry and progression in education. The role involves overseeing implementation, supervising field teams, ensuring donor compliance, and coordinating with partners to improve learning environments for refugee and public school children.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Implementation: Support planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities, work plans, reports, and budgets.
  • Field Coordination & Supervision: Supervise education field officers, teachers, and assistants; ensure quality of teaching and psychosocial support; address field challenges.
  • Communication & Reporting: Ensure smooth communication between staff and departments; write and submit reports; maintain accurate documentation.
  • Monitoring & Data Collection: Compile and track data linked to indicators; ensure timely reporting of results.
  • Capacity Building: Support professional development of staff to improve teaching and learning quality.
  • Donor & Partner Compliance: Coordinate with the Program Manager to meet donor requirements and timelines.
  • Budget & Logistics: Track project budgets, expenses, and procurement needs.
  • Protection & Referrals: Follow up on child protection issues, ensuring timely referrals for learners with special needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in coordination, management, or education projects.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage pressure, deadlines, and conflict professionally.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting systems.
