PSS Facilitator (Beirut and Mount Lebanon)

Ana Aqra Association is seeking to recruit PSS Facilitators to support the delivery of structured, inclusive, age-appropriate, and gender-sensitive psychosocial support activities for children and caregivers in schools, shelters, and other assigned spaces in Mount Lebanon.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate PSS sessions for children and support caregiver-related activities when required.
• Create a safe, inclusive, child-friendly, and supportive environment.
• Adapt activities to different age groups and ensure the participation of children with diverse needs, including children with disabilities.
• Manage group dynamics using positive, respectful, and non-punitive approaches.
• Report any child safety, wellbeing, protection, or safeguarding concerns through Ana Aqra’s approved channels.
• Coordinate with Ana Aqra team members, schools, shelter focal points, caregivers, and local stakeholders.
• Track attendance, document sessions, collect feedback, and submit required reports.
• Support the preparation, distribution, and safe use of PSS, recreational, educational, and other project-related materials.
• Attend mandatory trainings, orientations, and coaching sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Social Sciences, Special Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in PSS, education, child protection, social work, emergency response, or facilitation with children.
• Experience with displaced or vulnerable communities, schools, shelters, NGOs, caregiver engagement, or children with disabilities is an asset.
• Strong facilitation, communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Good understanding of child safeguarding, child protection, PSEA, and do-no-harm principles.
• Good command of Arabic is required; basic English is an asset.

Selected facilitators must sign and adhere to Ana Aqra’s Code of Conduct, Child Safeguarding Policy, AAP commitments, and PSEA Policy. Engagement is subject to reference and background checks.
