Anti-Racism Movement (ARM) is a non-governmental organization working to dismantle systemic racism and achieve social, economic, and gender justice for migrant workers and racialized groups in Lebanon since 2011. Migrant Community Center (MCC) is a safer space for migrants living under Kafala. MCC works with migrant domestic workers to improve their living and working conditions and build their capacities to self-advocate for their rights as agents and leaders of change. Its programs include community-building, capacity-building, psychosocial wellbeing, community-led initiatives, and advocacy.

Job Purpose
Collecting data from Migrant Community in Lebanon
Areas of Contribution & Related Accountabilities
The jobholder’s responsibilities in this area include:
I) Handling data collection:
- Attending an induction training
- Conducting phone calls with Migrant Community in Lebanon
- Collecting information through a survey on Kobo toolbox
- Documenting information and daily progress
II) Reporting on data collected
- Updating the database on a daily basis through the data collected
- Reporting to the Focal Point on the useful information and feedback from MWs
- Reporting on the areas that were agreed upon in the induction training
Communications & Work Relationships
- Regular contact with MEAL Manager and Programs Officers
- Regular contact with MCC Team
- Regular contact with migrant community members
Framework, Boundaries, and Decision-Making Authority
The jobholder reports to the MEAL Manager for decision-making and takes necessary actions once approved.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in data collection.
- Experience working with migrant communities in Lebanon.
- Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Excel and data collection tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, teamwork, relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in English or French and Arabic is required.
- Knowledge and understanding of human rights and migration issues, and of the situation of migrant workers in Lebanon.
Schedule and Salary
- Schedule: 40 hours/week.
- Salary: USD 5/hour
