B) Objective

The objective is to develop a strategic plan for the LGBT coalition in Lebanon after organizing and facilitating a retreat of the coalition for two days at the end of April 2018.

C) Scope of work and expected results

Develop a relevant and appropriate methodology of the work and approach leading to the objective in on-going and close consultations with parties engaged in Lebanon.

Develop a suitable agenda for the retreat including a definitive timeline

The consultant will undertake review, assessment and judgment of the data/information in close consultation with the parties engaged

The consultant will facilitate the retreat, conduct SWOT analysis and strategic planning exercise and will be capable of running a very smooth and productive meeting  in terms of internal dynamics and significant results.

Produce a comprehensive report presenting the strategic plan and documenting the process of developing it

Qualifications

A post-graduate or equivalent qualification/ degree in management, business, public health or similar fields.

At least 2 to 4 years of prior work experience strategic planning development

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in undertaking and organizing seminars

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in consultancy work and producing well- written reports

Excellent Arabic writing skills

Duration of the Work

 The duration of the consultancy contract  shall be for a maximum of 1 month. Starting on April 15 and ending on May 15

Payment Schedule

50% on signing the contract and submission of a draft of the methodology

50% on submission of the two final requested reports\documents
