Main Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager and other employees as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maximize productivity.
  • Streamline inquiries and questions and redirect them to responsible parties.
  • Organize and monitor schedules and see that deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate efforts between the team and outside consultants efficiently.
  • Create weekly progress reports.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks.
  • Engage target community through social media channels.

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in working with gender and LGBTQ issues – work experience and/or research/academic experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to self-start, meet deadlines and yet be part of a team working toward a common goal
  • Strong interest in LGBTQ rights
  • Thorough knowledge of current events
  • Proven experience to work cooperatively with students, staff, faculty, and community members
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Social media and computer skills essential
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
