The United Nations Human Council's Universal Periodic Review Process

This brochure presents a brief introduction to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process and introduces the different stages of possible engagement by civil society groups with the process. The brochure is divided into four main sections (Pre- submission preparation, Preparation of the Submission, Advocacy and Follow up, and notes for Civil Society Mobilizations in Geneva during the UPR review session). In addition, it includes highlights specific to preparing submissions focused on social and economic rights.
